Tips For Traveling With a Vaporizer
With the official start of summer right around the corner, millions of people throughout the country have begun planning their vacations. There's no better way to unwind than by laying out under the sun at your favorite beach. If you're thinking about taking a vaporizer with you, however, there are a few things you should know.
Clean It Beforehand
It's always a good idea to clean your vaporizer before taking it on a trip. Depending on the type of vaporizer you own, and when the last time you cleaned it was, it should only take 10-15 minutes to give it a "thorough" cleaning. Doing so will eliminate and buildups of resin, leaving your vaporizer clean and ready for your travels. With that said, it's recommended that you let your vaporizer air dry after cleaning it.
Vaporizers come in a wide variety of sizes, ranging from the gigantic Volcano to the small, pocket-sized Magic Flight Launch Box. When traveling, it's recommended that you opt for a smaller vaporizer. Common sense should tell you that's easier to carry a Magic Flight Launch Box around than it is a Volcano, so make sure your vaporizer is small and portable.
Don't Forget The Charger!
Unless your vaporizer plugs directly into a wall outlet, you'll want to bring the charger with you. There's nothing more frustrating than showing up to your destination only to realize that you left the charger at home. Even if there's still a charge, it may only deliver a couple hours worth of use before dying, at which point you'll be left without a vaping device. If your vaporizer supports several different charging methods (e.g. USB, car lighter, wall outlet), bring at least two charging devices just in case one fails.
Don't make the mistake of tossing your vaporizer into your luggage with the rest of your clothes and belongings. Even if it "looks" safe ans secure, it may get knocked around during your trap, resulting in permanent damage. I recommend using a special hard-shell case to store your vaporizer and any related vaping accessories.
Bring Your Herb or Oil!
Of course, you'll also want to pack your preferred oil or herb with your vaporizer. Leaving it at home would essentially make your vaporizer useless, so don't make this mistake.
